Introduction
L298N is a high voltage, high current motor drive chip produced by ST. The chip is available in a 15-pin package. The main features are: high working voltage, the highest working voltage can reach 46V; the output current is large, the instantaneous peak current can reach 3A, the continuous working current is 2A; the rated power is 25W. High-voltage, high-current, full-bridge driver with two H-bridges that can be used to drive inductive loads such as DC motors and stepper motors, relay coils; control with standard logic level signals; with two enable control terminals, Allow or disable device operation without input signal. There is a logic power input to make the internal logic circuit work at low voltage; external sense resistor can be connected to feedback to the control circuit. Using the L298N chip to drive the motor, the chip can drive a two-phase stepper motor or a four-phase stepper motor, or two DC motors. This module integrates a built-in 5V power supply. When your driving voltage is 7V-35V, you can enable the onboard 5V logic power supply. When using the onboard 5V power supply, the +5V power supply in the interface should not input voltage, but can draw 5V voltage for external use. When ENA is enabled IN1 IN2 Control OUT1 OUT2. When ENB is enabled IN3 IN4 Control OUT3 OUT4
